Blue Jay Journal Television programs are a production of Washington High School's Broadcast Television Class located in the beautiful river town of Washington, Missouri.

Our staff produces several 15 minute full episodes each year. They are aired on local cable access on ECC via Charter Communications and online via our website and youtube channel (Click here!). We also produce a weekly in-house announcements show aired every Friday by teachers via our youtube channel.

We are active members of several regional, state, and national broadcast journalism organizations. We often attend workshops, conventions, and contests in order to improve our programs and help us grow journalistically.

We are also active on facebook, twitter, and right here in our own area of the world wide web.

In order to enroll in Blue Jay Journal, a student must first successfully complete the semester-long course formerly known as "Introduction to Broadcast Journalism" NOW "Mass Media." Then, they will need to fill out an application form and hope for the best.
