Thank you for visiting the Washington High School NJROTC webpage.
Our mission is to instill the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.
The unit currently has an enrollment of 55 cadets - all of whom will learn a curriculum emphasizing citizenship, leadership development as well as United States maritime heritage.
Classroom instruction is augmented throughout the year by community service activities, air rifle competitions, leadership camps, STEM camps as well as many other opportunities for cadets to meet new friends and learn new skills.
A typical school week includes classroom instruction, physical training (PT), uniform preparation, and inspection. This will vary based on cadet class schedules. Guest speakers, including veterans, also frequently visit the cadets to present and discuss a variety of topics.
Students participate in a variety of opportunities:
- Leadership Camps
- National Flight Academy
- Air Rifle Team
