Family Connection from Naviance

We are pleased to introduce Family Connection from Naviance, a web-based service designed especially for Washington High School students and parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that you and your child can use to help in making decisions about colleges and scholarships. Family Connection is linked with Counselor's Office, a service that we use in our office to track and analyze data about college and scholarships, so it provides up-to-date information that is specific to our school.

Family Connection also lets us share information with you and your child about up-coming meetings and events, and other web resources for college and career information. In addition, the site includes a link that your child can use to send e-mail messages to your counselor, or even colleges you may be interested in researching. Student and parent logins will be provided during registration.

Requesting a Teacher Recommendation

PLEASE NOTE: If you are sending out a request, it is very beneficial to first ASK the teacher if they will fill out a recommendation before you complete this request on Family Connection. Our teachers also appreciate this heads up so they know to look for the recommendation in their e-mail. This can help you in getting a recommendation completed quickly.
